TEAM TEACHING

Team Teaching is a useful teaching method that allows the teacher to have closer contact with each of his/her students. The class is subdivided into three groups; each of the two teachers takes a group and the third group works on an activity already explained by the homeroom teacher before starting with her first group. During ten minutes the groups are learning in a semicircle of chairs, sitting on the small carpet, or sitting at a table. The three groups rotate, and in thirty minutes they have taken all three classes. In each “station” the children learn three different units, and everyday their teachers implement varied activities to grasp their students’ attention.
